Endolift training in the UK for practitioners

Buying the machine does not teach you to use it. Here is what to look for in Endolift training and how training works with our laser.

By Endolift Laser For SalePublished Updated 5 minute read

Good Endolift training covers anatomy, patient selection, laser settings, fibre technique, consent and managing complications, with supervised practice. Training with our laser is available from Dr Rohit Seth, a GMC registered doctor, at an additional cost to the machine.

Why training matters

Endolift places a fibre under the skin, so technique and judgement matter as much as the equipment. A laser in the wrong hands risks poor results and harm to patients. Training also protects you commercially, because insurers, regulators and patients all expect a practitioner to be properly trained.

Who can perform Endolift?

Endolift is a minimally invasive procedure under local anaesthetic, so it must be carried out by a suitably qualified and trained practitioner. Local anaesthetic is a prescription only medicine, so check who in your clinic can prescribe and administer it. Registration requirements also vary with what your clinic does, see licensing and registration for London clinics.

What good training covers

  • Anatomy of the face, neck and body and the structures that must be avoided.
  • Patient selection and when to decline or refer.
  • Consultation and consent, including realistic expectations.
  • Laser settings and protocols for each area on the LASEmaR 1500.
  • Fibre handling and technique, with supervised practice.
  • Aftercare and complication management.
  • Laser safety, including eye protection and local rules. See Endolift laser safety.

Training with Dr Rohit Seth

Training for our machine is available from Dr Rohit Seth. His TK Medispa profile lists him as a GMC registered surgeon (MD, MRCS(Ed) and PhD) with more than 17 years of surgical experience, and says Eufoton appointed him as an Endolift Key Opinion Leader to train other doctors on the LASEmaR 1500. Credentials are as published by TK Medispa on its about page.

Training is priced separately from the machine, at an additional cost, and is arranged directly. Any certification from the manufacturer or UK distributor is separate. Ask for a training quote when you make an enquiry.

Questions to ask any Endolift trainer

  • How many Endolift procedures have you performed yourself?
  • Is the training hands on, and how many supervised cases are included?
  • What support do you offer afterwards?
  • Will my insurer accept this training?
  • What does the training cost, and what does that include?

Count the cost

Training is part of your real investment, so include it when you work out payback. The Endolift payback calculator has a training cost box for exactly this.
